Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Test Analyst to join our high profile client.

Our client is a leading software provider to the front office wealth and asset management market with customers across the globe. Their product is completely tech driven and have been a long established brokerage and investment solutions provider.

The product has a web element as well as a backend server based high availability platform so work is mixed both ways.

Working as part of a friendly and knowledgeable team , the Test Analyst will be responsible for working on existing and new functionality as part of the core product development cycle following an iterative style methodology.

Reporting to the Head of Test and Documentation, the successful Tester will be responsible for:

• Execute test plans manually and conduct manual, functional and exploratory testing.
• Translate functional requirement and specifications into documented test plans, cases and steps
• Work closely with the development team to deliver applications
• Work closely with other areas of the business to understand requirements
• Accurate defect management
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation
• Some involvement in client facing projects may be required

Test Analysts must have:

• 2 years UK commercial experience upwards
• Experience of manual and functional testing
• Ability to write SQL scripts to create and manipulate data
• Understanding of the full development life cycle
• Excellent communication skills – fluent in English language (verbal and written)
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• SQL

This is an ideal role for a graduate or junior tester who is looking for serious financial services experience. The client has a range of interesting and diverse customers which will allow you to experience a host of financial services roles.

The team is varied in experience with a mature yet casual feel.
