The School of Life Course & Population Sciences is one of six Schools that make up the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London. About the role

We are seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support the analysis of data from a randomised controlled dietary intervention trial investigating the effects of dietary intake of potatoes on cardiometabolic health, sleep, and glucose variability (STARCHy study). The role is funded through the Alliance for Potato Research and Education (APRE) and will be supervised by Prof Wendy Hall. The position is ideal for a researcher with strong quantitative skills and experience in analysing clinical trial or physiological datasets.

The post-holder will focus on exploratory analyses of secondary and novel outcomes from the trial dataset, including 24-hour blood pressure patterns, glucose variability from continuous glucose monitoring, and markers of autonomic function and diet adherence. The successful candidate will work closely with the trial team to generate data summaries and contribute to the preparation of publications and reports.

This is a part-time post (14 hours per week) and you will be offered a fixed-term contract until 6th May 2026.
