Associate Risk Officer
Associate Risk OfficerGlasgowWe're seeking someone to join our Global Risk team as an Associate Risk Officer within Enterprise Network Services (ENS).ENS builds and manages the global firm/wide network and voice infrastructure. This Risk Officer is responsible for supporting risk management practices across ENS. The role will support risk agenda across multiple teams, ensuring that risks are identified, controlled, managed and reported. The role has colleagues and stakeholders across the globe and is required to liaise with risk governance functions, senior leaders, executive management and regulatory bodies.What you'll do in the role:
- Communicate regularly with product leads across ENS Technology solutions and discuss opportunities for enhancing our risk posture to existing and future technology solutions
- Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.
- Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of Network risks and topics.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the risk management framework.
- Coordinate the organization's response to significant risk events.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of risk strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to risk management. Ability to effectively support multiple functions and initiatives
- Good understanding of business line and discipline
- Experience in leading risk assessments
- Understanding of global regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Good communications skills with experience reporting to senior management
