Key Responsibilities of the Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary

  • Conduct actuarial valuations and calculations for pension schemes
  • Assess and manage pension scheme risks
  • Provide advice and recommendations on pension scheme design and funding strategies
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop and implement pension solutions

Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary

  • Strong knowledge of UK Pension consulting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex pensions data clearly
  • Progressing towards or recently achieved IFoA qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
