Streaming Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic, music-passionate Digital Partnerships Coordinator for our team. You will work closely with us, and our labels, to ensure that Sony Music's artists and releases have high visibility across streaming partners, in turn helping our artists grow their fanbases. You will support our team across all streaming partners, gaining front seat access to working with them, and the opportunity to expand your network. This insider access will require you to develop a strong understanding of all streaming platforms and the music market as a whole. Our Digital Partnerships team are responsible for Sony Music UK's relationships with Spotify, Apple, Amazon, YouTube, Vevo, Deezer & SoundCloud. This is an incredible opportunity to be at the very forefront of the music industry, gain an exceptional network of contacts and have unprecedented access to the very latest strategic thinking in the music business. Get hands on experience in the inner workings of a major record label and how artists grow their audiences on streaming platforms, as well as an overall insight into the way in which a record label works on a day-to-day basis. What you'll do: Collaborations & Relationship Management: Act as the Digital Partnerships point person for gathering music, release information, artist images and video assets on new music releases from Sony Music UK's labels, for the purpose of pitching to the streaming partners and communicating to Sony's Digital Partnerships teams internationally Release Schedule Ownership: Maintain Sony Music UK's release schedules to ensure that they are current and accurate, and distribute bespoke schedules to the streaming partners Weekly Releases Pitching: Help our Partnerships Managers manage their pitch process of new releases and trending tracks to streaming partners (including booster pitches) to ensure optimal visibility and engagement for these releases Best Practice Education: Support our Partnerships Managers in educating Sony Music UK teams on best practices for growing an artist's audience on each streaming platform, including creating sharable resources and keeping these updated Partner Meetings: Support our Partnerships Managers to plan and host regular music meetings with the streaming partners, and with our labels and artist's teams Who you are: Passionate about music and music culture Tenacious, motivated and curious, eager to learn and ready to get stuck in You have some previous experience as an assistant or coordinator supporting a busy team You will be able to manage your time autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively to successfully fulfil your responsibilities You have excellent attention to detail and time management skills You have strong proactive communication skills as you will need to quickly build relationships with multiple stakeholders within the business and with external partners What we give you: You join a vibrant global community with the opportunity to channel your passion every day A modern office environment designed for you, empowering you to bring your best Investment in your professional growth and development enabling you to thrive in our vibrant community The space to accelerate progress, positively disrupt and create what happens next We give you the platform to champion positive change, with the opportunity to contribute to our social impact, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives We provide an excellent range of benefits like private medical cover, a generous pension scheme, life assurance, income protection, plus loads of music industry perks.
