SEND Teaching Assistant
We are partnering with a supportive, welcoming, and inclusive SEND school in West London that is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing tailored support across a range of classes, working closely with teachers and other support staff to meet the individual needs of pupils.
Key Responsibilities for a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant for pupils including those with SEND
- Work collaboratively, contributing positively to the school team
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Observe and assess children's progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents
- Offer constructive feedback to pupils on their progress and achievements
For this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a SEND school setting
- Experience working with children, with a reference to support it
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- The ability to commute to Richmond upon Thames or live locally
Pay Rate : 80- 100 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.
