English Literature Teacher | Brent (Inner London)
We are excited to be working with a prestigious Independent school in Brent to recruit a committed English Literature Teacher. This full-time, permanent position starts in April 2026 and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and scholarly English department. We are looking for a teacher with an inspirational approach to delivering the curriculum, with the proven expertise to challenge and stretch students at KS5/A Level.

Responsibilities
Teach engaging English lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5 as a passionate specialist
Foster a deep appreciation for Literature and help students achieve their highest potential
Lead students to success in A Level English Literature through high-calibre instruction
Collaborate with a department of specialist teachers to drive student progress
Contribute to a strong culture of professional development and literary debate
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in English Literature or a related discipline
PGCE or QTS
Proven experience teaching English Literature at KS5/A Level
Must have the right to work in the UK
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: £40,317 to £62,496 (Inner London)
