Community & Partnerships Manager

Origin Coffee
London

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic Community & Partnerships Manager to transform how Origin connects with people, places, and culture. You’ll turn community activity into a purposeful brand function, building partnerships, activating our spaces, and creating experiences that deepen engagement and elevate Origin’s presence within coffee culture.

This role replaces our former Events Manager position, evolving from event delivery to relationship-building. You’ll collaborate with like-minded brands, creators, and communities, finding fresh ways to bring Origin’s story to life through shared values, creativity, and purpose.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage partnerships with brands, organisations, and communities that align with Origin’s purpose.
  • Activate Origin’s retail spaces for community events and collaborations.
  • Spot emerging cultural and lifestyle trends that position Origin at the heart of coffee culture.
  • Work with Marketing, Retail, Wholesale, and Sustainability teams to deliver impactful activations.
  • Share stories and outcomes from partnerships to amplify our brand across channels.
  • You’ll often be out in the world, connecting with partners and communities where coffee, culture, and collaboration come to life, travel, and on-site presence are part of how you’ll make an impact.

About You

  • You have experience in brand partnerships, community engagement, events, or cultural programming.
  • Ideally, you’ve also worked within speciality coffee or have a strong understanding of the industry and its culture.
  • You’re curious about people, culture, and what connects them, primarily through coffee.
  • You’re organised, creative, and confident in managing multiple projects from idea to execution.
  • You communicate clearly and build relationships naturally, both at work and outside.
  • You’re motivated by authenticity, collaboration, and creating something that lasts.
  • You’ll be comfortable with travel, weekend, or evening work, as the role involves supporting events and partnerships across our communities.

What it's like to work here

Origin is an independent, founder-led coffee brand driven by purpose and creativity. We source, roast, and serve exceptional coffee, and we’re deeply connected to the people and communities behind it. Working here means being part of a team that values integrity, curiosity, and ownership, where your ideas and energy directly shape how people experience our coffee and our culture.

Why this role matters

You’ll play a key part in how Origin shows up in the world, helping us move beyond traditional events to meaningful partnerships and community-led influence. This is a role for someone who wants to shape the next chapter of speciality coffee culture and help strengthen Origin’s place within it.

Interested?

Apply now and tell us about a partnership or activation you’ve helped create that made a genuine impact.

Why Origin

At Origin, we combine craft, quality, and curiosity to create exceptional coffee experiences, from sourcing and roasting to storytelling and service. You’ll join a creative and grounded team, developing your copywriting skills through mentorship, feedback, and meaningful work that celebrates our values.

Please note: Origin will begin relocating its Roastery production and HQ in early 2026, moving from Porthleven to a new site near Truro and Perranporth, just off the A30. Should you be based in Cornwall and not London, we encourage applicants to keep this in mind when applying.

Working at Origin

  • 26 days holiday, including your birthday off + flexible bank holidays
  • All the coffee you could dream of – plus discounts on merch and partner products
  • Work that’s meaningful, creative, and rooted in values
  • Industry-leading brand with a people-first culture
  • B-Corp certified and proudly independent
  • SCA training and ongoing learning opportunities for all employees
  • Enhanced family leave for every kind of parent
  • Pension scheme with 5% employer contributions
  • Access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme & GP Service
  • Enhanced sick pay, period leave & personal days
  • Two paid volunteering days every year

Everyone is Welcome at Origin

We believe diverse perspectives enrich our culture and creativity. If you’re passionate about coffee and excited by this opportunity, even if you don’t tick every box, we encourage you to apply. Your unique experience could be exactly what we need.
