The Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Writer to join our content team. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging writer to develop their skills in producing high-quality written content across a variety of formats and platforms.
You will be responsible for writing and delivering a set number of articles per week, contributing to consistent content output on Superyachts.com.
This role is well suited to a university student or someone seeking a second job alongside other commitments , offering flexibility and hands-on writing experience in a fast-paced environment.
Contract & Working Arrangement
- This is a freelance contract role
- You will be responsible for your own taxes, National Insurance, and any applicable filings
- Payment will be made upon invoice submission for completed work
- Flexible working schedule - complete in your own time
Requirements
Content Writing
- Write a set number of articles per week (to be agreed based on availability and workload)
- Produce clear, engaging, and well-structured written content
- Ensure all writing aligns with brand tone, style, and editorial guidelines
- Deliver work consistently and on agreed deadlines
Research & Storytelling
- Research topics thoroughly to produce accurate and engaging content
- Develop original ideas and angles for written features
- Stay informed on relevant trends and subject matter
Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and self-edit work to maintain high grammatical standards
- Take feedback from senior team members and apply revisions where required
Collaboration
- Work closely with editors and wider team members where required
- Contribute ideas during content planning and brainstorming
