Conveyancing Paralegal - Welling, Kent
My Law Skills is seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal to join the legal team of a prestigious National Law Firm. In this role, you will support solicitors in managing and executing property transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the conveyancing process. You will engage with clients, conduct property searches, prepare legal documents, and assist in coordinating the completion of sales and purchases. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical experience in property law within a dynamic and supportive environment.
The role is a two month internship with travel costs paid for, with a guaranteed full-time paralegal position upon passing the internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions.
- Prepare and review legal documentation related to conveyancing.
- Carry out property searches and liaise with relevant parties.
- Maintain up-to-date case files and records.
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legal deadlines and procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Legal Studies or related field preferred.
- Previous experience or exposure to conveyancing is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn legal software.
