Primary Driver (Class 1)
Job Title: Class 1 (Primary) Driver | Location: Dagenham (RM9 6RH)
Shift pattern: Average 48 hours per week , 4 on 4 off 3 on 3 off (including bank holidays if falls on your shift). Start times range between 12.00 am - 06.00am (12.00 hours per shift)
As our next Class 1 Driver, you’ll be part of an award-winning logistics team and dedicated network of Drivers, committed to safely delivering our iconic Hovis products on time, in full and ready to hit the supermarket shelves!
You’ll be an early bird and not the type to enjoy a traditional ‘9 til 5’ driving role. You enjoy interacting with customers, building strong relationships that reflect our values of Quality, Accountability and Trust. This role gives you that exceptional work-life balance as you will have more than half the year off work (yes, really)!
As part of our award-winning Logistics operation, your shift will start with loading your vehicle before hitting the road to complete deliveries to our warehouses and third-party customers, handling our short shelf-life products with care and efficiency. Working with a team of dedicated individuals, you’ll be responsible for providing first class customer service, building rapport with our customers and utilising the latest logistics technology whilst working in a safe manner.

Do you have?
LGV Cat C+E (HGV Class 1) Licence with a maximum of 6 points
Full Driver CPC Qualification & Digital Tachograph Card
You’ll have good knowledge of the highway code; driver working hours and enjoy talking to our customers.
