Junior VFX Compositor

JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a talented Junior VFX Compositor to join our Marketing Team. In this position, you will work under the combined supervision of the Video Post-Production Manager, Project Producers, and Compositing Supervisor. You will manipulate live-action footage and may combine computer-generated elements into visual effects shots that realise the creative vision set by the Art Direction and Visual Effects Lead. You will ultimately be responsible for the aesthetic integrity and technical quality of the final imagery delivered to Art Direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with Art Direction and the Visual Effects Lead to evaluate both the creative and technical approach, ensuring an efficient and effective path to achieving the desired outcome.
• Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, element layering, and colour grading for complex shots.
• Maintain the overall look, colour balance, and quality across assigned shots and sequences to ensure consistency and visual cohesion in the final output.
• Proactively identify and implement solutions to both technical and aesthetic challenges with minimal supervision, demonstrating composure and precision under tight deadlines.
• Contribute to resolving pipeline and workflow challenges while serving as a role model through professionalism, a positive attitude, and a high standard of technical execution.
• Collaborate effectively with artists and specialists across multiple disciplines.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of  Nuke  with proven experience in high-end VFX compositing, ideally within the luxury fashion space.
• Exhibits a  strong aesthetic sensibility , with an exceptional eye for composition, colour, design, and photo-realism.
• Brings a  fine arts foundation , such as expertise in photography and photographic lighting, supporting a refined visual approach.
• Remains  composed and solutions-oriented under tight deadlines, maintaining precision and creativity in fast-paced environments.
• Possesses excellent  communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to adapt quickly to new software, tools, and techniques.
