Internal Communications and Engagement Manager
Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?
How we started:
Back in 2013, our founder Dwayne D’Souza saw an opportunity to give people faster and more convenient access to medications using technology. We've grown rapidly since our inception, without any external funding whatsoever – achieving profitability through innovation and a highly disciplined approach to growth.
Where we are now:
We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Between 2023 and 2024 our global revenue tripled; £60m to £180m (300% year-on-year growth). We're looking to do the same in 2025; move into new territories, and further accelerate our growth journey. There’s never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX.
Where we’re going:
Over the next five years, you’ll support our goal to become a world-leading healthcare partner, deepening our customer relationships, expanding into new countries, and diversifying our product portfolio to treat more conditions. You’ll be part of helping more people access prescription treatments and, most importantly, making personalised care better, quicker and easier for everyone.
Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality!
The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative and strategic Internal Communications & Engagement Manager to bring our culture, values, and employee experience to life across HeliosX. This is a hybrid role sitting at the intersection of communications and engagement: you’ll design compelling ways to connect our people to our mission, ensure they’re informed and inspired, and create opportunities for everyone to feel engaged, valued, and heard.Reporting into the Director, People Operations, you’ll work closely with leaders and teams across the business to shape our narrative, deliver high-impact internal campaigns, and drive initiatives that strengthen culture and engagement. If you love blending storytelling with employee experience design, thrive in high-growth environments, and are motivated by making people feel connected to the bigger picture, this is the role for you.
This is a full time, permanent role. The successful candidate will have a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week expected in our Central London HQ.
What you'll do
- Own the internal communications strategy across HeliosX, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact in everything we share.
- Draft and deliver engaging content for multiple channels (Slack, newsletters, town halls, intranet, leadership updates).
- Partner with senior leaders to craft clear, transparent, and values-driven messaging.
- Develop creative campaigns to cascade company strategy, priorities, and milestones in a way that feels inspiring and accessible.
- Measure and analyse comms effectiveness, using feedback and data to continuously improve.
- Design and deliver engagement initiatives that bring our values to life and build connection across teams and geographies.
- Partner with the Workplace Advisor and People and Leadership teams on events, recognition programmes, culture initiatives, and pulse surveys.
- Support key business moments (equity launches, benefits rollouts, new office moves, global events) with compelling campaigns that drive excitement and participation.
- Create opportunities for employee voice and feedback, ensuring communication feels two-way.
- Champion inclusivity and consistency across engagement activities, ensuring we reach all employees regardless of location.
- Coordinate and deliver company-wide events such as all-hands, fireside chats, and leadership/strategy roadshows.
- Work with the Workplace Experience team to bring culture and engagement into physical and virtual spaces.
- Partner with social committees and ERGs to amplify their initiatives and impact.
What you'll bring to HeliosX
- Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or related roles in fast-paced, high-growth organisations.
- A natural storyteller with outstanding writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Creative flair with the ability to make complex information simple, engaging, and inspiring.
- Skilled in building campaigns across multiple channels, with a strong understanding of digital comms tools.
- Experience designing and delivering engagement initiatives that drive measurable impact.
- Strong project management and organisational skills – able to juggle multiple priorities without losing focus on detail.
- A collaborative mindset and confidence working cross-functionally with senior leaders, managers, and employees at all levels.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Passion for building culture, amplifying employee voice, and making the employee experience feel world-class.
