Year 1 Teacher | Twickenham
An enthusiastic Good primary in Twickenham is seeking a skilled and creative Year 1 Teacher to join its KS1 team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 1 Teacher will be invited to pre-term planning before January 2026, will attend a robust induction in January 2026, and will be in the classroom from January 2026 as the Year 1 Teacher. This Full-Time Year 1 Teacher role is a brilliant opportunity for a practitioner who loves phonics, early reading and creative curriculum design.

Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 1 Teacher will: lead systematic phonics, guided reading and sequenced writing as the Year 1 Teacher; design practical early maths and continuous provision as the Year 1 Teacher; use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions as the Year 1 Teacher. The Year 1 Teacher will prepare transition work for families, contribute to moderation activities and attend phase meetings before January 2026 and after January 2026. The Year 1 Teacher will plan resources prior to January 2026 and will teach from January 2026 in a Full-Time capacity.
Year 1 Teacher Requirements
We seek a Year 1 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent), strong KS1 practice and confident phonics delivery. The Year 1 Teacher should be reflective, organised and able to build strong partnerships with parents. Availability for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and a Full-Time start from January 2026 is essential.
