You will create engaging learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, independence, and positive learning behaviours. Working closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues, you will ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

  • Foster independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and EYFS colleagues

  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback

  • Contribute to staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives

  • Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience teaching in EYFS, ideally Reception

  • Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisation

  • Have a secure understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Be reflective, adaptable, and proactive

  • Show a strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and child wellbeing
