Senior Product Manager (AI)

Elsewhen
London

About Elsewhen:

Elsewhen is a London-based product consultancy, designs and builds technology solutions for clients like Spotify, Google, Inmarsat, and Zego. Over the past decade, we have built a workplace prioritising impact, drive, and friendliness. We value outcomes over hours and agility over rigid processes.

Work Environment:

  • Remote first hybrid working, with the Product team meeting once per week in person. There is also the option to use a WeWork membership for those who prefer more frequent office access.

  • Join our team: .

Role: We’re setting up a new AI Squad focussed on building AI PoCs and tools that improve how Elsewhen works, and explore revenue generating opportunities.

As the Senior AI Product Manager, you’ll run this squad day-to-day: shaping the backlog, scoping PoCs, and striving to deliver high-impact experiments that can be adopted, reused, and showcased.

This role is about speed, experimentation, and storytelling, working with a small team to turn promising ideas into tangible tools and case studies.

Your role will focus on three areas:

  • 🧪 Experimentation & Prototyping (~40%)
Rapidly test new AI ideas through proofs-of-concept and lightweight MVPs.
Validate what’s possible, what’s useful, and what can be reused.

  • ⚙️ Internal AI Enhancement (~40%)
Spot opportunities in Elsewhen’s daily work where AI can save time or reduce manual effort and turn them into working tools people actually use.

  • 📚 AI Knowledge Sharing (~20%)
Capture what’s learned, share it across teams, and help everyone at Elsewhen become more confident with AI tools and workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior AI Product Manager, you will lead an AI team on internal projects

  • Own the AI squad backlog: triage ideas from across the business based on growth impact, internal efficiency, and feasibility.

  • Write PRDs and guide PoCs through 2-week sprints. Define the single behaviour or assumption each PoC must validate.

  • Identify the riskiest assumption and design quick tests to de-risk it early.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the squad’s work supports Elsewhen’s GTM strategy and R&D ambitions.

  • Run squad ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos).

  • Track adoption and gather directional ROI signals (e.g. % time saved, # active users). Advocate for evidence-led decisions.

  • Share outcomes via Show & Tell, the AI newsletter and case studies.

  • Explore how outputs could be packaged as white-label demos that can be reused in pitches, client conversations or even standalone products.

  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to stay at the forefront of new Google AI technologies — identifying opportunities to experiment, pilot early releases, and create credible case studies.

  • Support internal initiatives to drive AI maturity across other departments.

Requirements:

  • 5 years + of experience in product management, 2+ in a consultancy

  • Experience running experiments, prototypes, or internal tools from idea to delivery.

  • Proven collaboration skills across engineering and senior stakeholders.

  • Curious and comfortable working in ambiguity: you can take a fuzzy idea and quickly shape it into a testable PoC.

  • Ability to define success without perfect data (e.g. using directional ROI, adoption, and feedback).

  • Comfortable working hands-on with LLMs, RAG and MCP-style agent integrations, and able to prototype and debug simple issues independently.

  • Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, and automation platforms. Whilst you don’t need to write software, you should be able to understand trade-offs and guide decisions.

Benefits:

  • Private Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for both physical and mental health.

  • Flexible and Remote-First Work Environment: Choose how and where you work, with the option for weekly team meet-ups in central London.

  • Generous Leave Policy: 27 days of holiday plus bank holidays

  • Family-friendly policies, including enhanced maternity, paternity and shared

  • Learning and Development: Individual annual budget of £2,000 for learning and development, with dedicated learning days.

  • Feel Better Fund: £500 to help set up your remote office.

  • Social Events: Monthly and quarterly team events, an annual team trip, and half-yearly social events.

  • Gym Membership Contribution: Support for maintaining your physical health.

  • Pension Contribution: Enhanced employer pension contribution of 6%.

  • Bonus Opportunities: Potential to receive a discretionary (non-contractual) bonus based on business and personal achievements

Our Commitment to Diversity:

Diverse thoughts, backgrounds, and perspectives create stronger teams and better technology. We welcome everyone, regardless of culture, appearance, or perspective, fostering individuality. We empower our team to challenge norms, grow ideas, and produce their best work.

*Please note that interviews for this position will commence in January.
