Graduate FX Analyst
Our client is a foreign exchange specialist based in London and founded in 2011. They are one of the fastest-growing companies in the financial services sector.
They provide services for companies as well as financial institutions that need to manage their FX exposure. They allow SME and Large Corporations to trade globally by eliminating boundaries related to traditional procedures.
Salary: £30,000
The Role
As a Graduate FX Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the FX trading and research teams. You will be responsible for analysing currency markets, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of trading strategies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of foreign exchange and develop a strong foundation in financial analysis and trading.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse global currency markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that impact FX markets.
• Research & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Utilise statistical tools and financial models to analyse market data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Support Trading: Assist the FX trading team in executing trades, managing risk, and optimising trading strategies.
• Client Interaction: Provide timely market updates and insights to clients, and assist in addressing client inquiries related to FX markets.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in global markets, economic policies, and financial instruments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other analysts, traders, and departments to support the overall goals of the team and the company.
The Person
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in financial markets.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating a collaborative approach.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Interest in FX Markets: A strong passion for global markets, currencies, and trading.
Desirable Skills:
• Familiarity with trading platforms and risk management tools.
• Previous internship or work experience in financial services.
