Regulatory Product Analyst

Job Purpose

• Key member of the Regulatory Solutions team, monitoring the regulatory landscape across Europe for new product ideas and updates. The Regulatory Solutions team at ICE develops and maintains a suite of solutions used by ICE clients to assist in their regulatory compliance workflows.
• Follow multiple regulator updates across the EU, UK, Middle East, as well as assist in tracking Asian-Pacific regulatory updates.
• Make recommendations on enhancements to existing regulatory products suite to ensure appropriate regulatory change management alignment with the latest guidance.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to service the ICE client base by developing new solutions that alleviate their regulatory compliance burdens.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and read new regulatory text coming from ESMA, EBA, U.K. FCA, U.K. PRA, BOE and other regional regulators to keep the team informed on pending changes to existing regulations that impact ICE clients ahead of the implementation deadline.
• Make specific recommendations for updates to existing solutions to stay aligned with new guidance.
• Work with senior team members to assist with clients and prospects to understand their regulatory compliance workflows and how ICE can better assist in that workflow.
• Work with senior team members to liaise across the ICE organisation to understand the firm’s strengths with regards to offering regulatory solutions.

Knowledge and Experience

• Familiarity with financial regulations such as MiFID II, Solvency II, PRIIPS, SIPPS, tax rules, etc.
• Familiarity with financial markets, especially Fixed Income and/or Derivatives markets
• Experience working in financial services or related industries
• Strong reading and writing skills, including the ability to succinctly summarise extensive technical documents into short overviews
• Understanding of risk management and back-office functionality in the buy-side or sell-side
• Ability to work with big data, especially financial data sets
• SQL and basic coding skills a plus
