Single Homeless Project has an opportunity for a Caseworker to join our experienced and committed teams based across London. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at £29,822.41 and rising incrementally to £32,034.46 per annum.

About the Caseworker role:

As a Caseworker in our Tenancy Sustainment Team, you’ll do so much more than help people keep a roof over their heads. You’ll be part of someone’s journey toward stability, growth, and renewed confidence. Whether welcoming someone at the start of their support journey, walking alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges, or supporting them to move on to greater independence, your work will have a lasting impact.

This is a role that develops you as much as it empowers others. Every day brings new opportunities to build trusting relationships, use your creativity to solve real-world problems, and collaborate with a committed team that is shaping the future of housing support across London. You’ll deliver one-to-one, person-led support that enables people to maintain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, build financial resilience, and engage fully in their communities. Alongside your clients, you’ll draw on a wide network of Single Homeless Project (SHP) and community services to help turn personal goals into meaningful outcomes.

Caseworker posts are for Mondays - Fridays, 9am to 5pm. Posts involve hybrid work with opportunities to work from home at times. The role includes hybrid working and is based at our office in Kings Cross. There are opportunities to work from home at times.

About you:

You’re a confident collaborator who builds strong working relationships with colleagues and partner agencies to get the best outcomes for clients.


You’re organised, proactive and able to balance competing priorities, staying calm and focused when things get busy.


You know how to help people build greater independence, from strengthening day-to-day living skills to improving financial stability and tackling income, bills, debts or arrears.


You take a genuinely person-centred approach, listening to what matters to each client, recognising their strengths and aspirations, and shaping support around their individual needs.


You understand the challenges people experiencing homelessness can face, including navigating housing pathways, and you’re committed to delivering inclusive, respectful support that promotes choice and opportunity.

Our attractive benefits package includes:

A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period


A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services


25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays),


A contributory pension scheme: Single Homeless Project will contribute the equivalent of 5% of your annual salary
