Senior Quantity Surveyor
The appointed Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee both pre- and post-contract cost management, including cost planning, contract administration, and change control. You'll work closely with developers, housing associations and local authorities to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also lead on procurement, review contractor proposals and ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely across all stages of the project. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities Prepare, develop and manage cost plans and budgets
Produce detailed cost reports and financial statements for clients
Lead tendering and procurement, including documentation, analysis, and recommendation
Manage contract administration and change control processes
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and external consultants
Review risk, forecasts and value engineering options throughout the project lifecycleSenior Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
Pre- and post-contract knowledge essential
MRICS qualified or actively working towards
Strong residential and/or mixed-use project experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Confident in leading projects and junior staffIn Return Salary of £60,000 - £70,000
