DT Technician - London
Our client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic DT Technician to join a high-performing secondary school in a North London borough , supporting the delivery of Design & Technology across KS3–KS5.
• Full-time DT Technician
• ASAP or January 2026 start
• Well-resourced secondary school in North London
This is an excellent opportunity to support a successful DT department, working closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons are safe, engaging, and well-prepared.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for DT lessons
• Maintaining DT machinery and ensuring health & safety compliance
• Supporting practical lessons across materials, food, or resistant materials (depending on specialism)
• Stock control and ordering resources
• Supporting students during practical sessions
Person Specification
• Experience working as a DT Technician or in a workshop environment
• Strong understanding of health & safety in practical subjects
• Organised, practical, and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Eligibility to work in the UK
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
