Analyst / Assistant Manager, Portfolio / Change Assurance, Exec Group
We are seeking an Analyst/Assistant Manager, ideally with experience in Change Management & Communications and/or in Portfolio & Project Management to join our UK Transformation Portfolio Office (TPO) team within the Executive Group (reporting into MP for Transformation, Stephen Spurway). Joining the TPO will extend your internal network and allow you to contribute to shaping and driving outcomes across our internal transformation portfolio, working closely with UK Enabling Functions and Business leaders as well as a wide range of stakeholders across the UK firm. The nature of the work is both cyclical (giving the opportunity to deeply embed knowledge) and dynamic (giving the opportunity for agile, strategic and problem-based thinking). You will welcome the opportunity of developing your skills and experience in enterprise-wide transformation and want to commit to at least a 6-month journey with us, 4 to 5 days per week. Location is flexible per firm policy: the team tends to meet once or twice a week in the London office; for the remainder of the time it is hybrid.,
- Supporting the team in managing and tracking its progress across its day-to-day activities and helping it to look ahead and plan effectively for upcoming work
- Supporting driving adoption and upskilling on best practice Change Management and/or Portfolio/Project Management across UK Transformation project teams, leveraging and augmenting our existing knowledge resources
- Supporting the team in their capacity as delivery assurance partner to project teams: Analysing, challenging and facilitating seamless visibility between project teams and leadership on investment business cases, project delivery progress, financials tracking, benefits realisation and change management interventions and effectiveness
- Co-developing materials for periodic Executive level updates, transformation events and leadership meetings, Partner updates, People webinars etc.
- Understanding the change impact of initiatives and supporting project teams in planning and execution of change management activities, including adoption
- Reviewing/developing the team's comms as well as project comms to communicate compelling change stories that link in with the wider transformation agenda and firm strategy
- Adopting a continuous improvement approach and proactively coming up with ways for the TPO and project teams to evolve their ways of working to enable successful project and change delivery. The role will provide a support function across the range of the team's services. Experience in project assurance and change management is desirable but not essential as these skills are transferrable., Ability to work collaboratively, build strong networks and rapidly build trusting relationships with senior stakeholders

- Experience in portfolio, programme and project management with an understanding of associated concepts/frameworks/methodologies
