We are seeking an experienced, commercially focused and inspirational Director of Service to lead our Cleaning operations across the London & South East region.

About the Role
As Director of Service, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of a significant customer portfolio, ensuring outstanding service delivery, colleague engagement and commercial performance.

You will work closely with customers, operational management teams and Kingdom Head Office functions to deliver best-in-class cleaning services while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Customer & Operational Excellence

* Deliver best-in-class service through a controlled operational structure and robust management processes.

* Build strong strategic and operational relationships with clients, acting as Kingdom's senior representative.

* Lead contract development plans and improvement initiatives across the portfolio.

* Implement and oversee meaningful management information and reporting to monitor service performance.

* Ensure operational standards, compliance and contractual obligations are consistently achieved.

Leadership & People Management

* Lead, coach and develop a high-performing operational management team.
* Create a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
* Support performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes where required.

* Develop succession plans and identify future talent within the business.

* Recognise and reward success while maintaining colleague wellbeing and motivation.

Commercial & Financial Management

* Manage budgets and ensure expenditure remains within agreed parameters.

* Review financial performance and implement plans to improve profitability.

* Support contract retention, growth opportunities and business development initiatives.
* Ensure accurate documentation, trackers, action plans and account records are maintained.

Compliance & Governance

* Support statutory compliance and regulatory requirements across all managed contracts.

* Ensure adherence to Kingdom policies, procedures and HOW process manuals.

* Promote best practice and maximise the use of Kingdom systems and support centres.

What We're Looking For
Essential

* Significant senior leadership experience within Cleaning, Facilities Management or Outsourced Services.
* Proven experience managing multi-site operations and large customer portfolios.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen.
* Experience leading and developing management teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
* Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
* Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

* Facilities Management or Cleaning industry qualifications.
* Experience working within corporate or commercial environments.
* IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualifications.
* Experience using operational reporting systems and performance management tools.
