The Opportunity & Role Profile
This welcoming Primary School in Merton is seeking a proactive Site Manager. You will be the primary point of contact for the school's site maintenance and security, ensuring the building is safe, compliant, and welcoming for young pupils and staff every day.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Site Security: Responsible for the daily opening and locking of the school site, managing the intruder alarm, and performing key holder duties.
Maintenance & DIY: Carrying out essential repairs, supervising external contractors, and ensuring the grounds are well-maintained.
Compliance: Maintaining Health & Safety logs, conducting fire safety checks, and ensuring water hygiene standards are met.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Prior experience in school site management or a trade (plumbing/carpentry/electrical).
Salary: £32,000 per annum.
Support: Local government pension scheme and a supportive senior leadership team.
