Maternity Nurse
This is a short-term, flexible position initially for the first 2 weeks following the baby’s arrival, with the possibility of ongoing support once Dad returns to work, depending on Mum’s needs. The family are looking for someone calm, knowledgeable, and reassuring who can guide them through those early days and help build confidence as new parents. Working Hours:
4–5 days per week, 5–6 hours per day. Flexible schedule: mornings, afternoons, or a combination Duties Will Include:
Supporting Mum with newborn care and recovery
Offering guidance on feeding (breastfeeding or bottle feeding)
Establishing gentle routines
Assisting with baby care (nappy changing, settling, bathing)
Light nursery duties (baby laundry, keeping baby areas tidy)
Providing reassurance, advice, and emotional support The Ideal Candidate:
Experienced maternity nanny with strong newborn knowledge
Calm, gentle, and supportive approach
Confident in offering guidance while respecting parenting preferences
Flexible and adaptable
Up-to-date with current newborn care practices Salary: £25 gross per hour This is a wonderful opportunity to support a family during a very special and important time, with the potential to build an ongoing relationship.
