Senior Account Handler

We are working with a national insurance broker who are seeking a Senior Account Handler to manage a portfolio of commercial clients from their Orpington office. This role combines client management, administration, and some support for Account Executives on more complex cases.

The Role

* Take ownership of a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as their main point of contact.
* Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client documentation efficiently.
* Liaise with clients, insurers, and colleagues to resolve queries and maintain smooth processes.
* Support Account Executives on larger or more complex accounts where needed.
* Ensure all records are accurate and compliant with FCA regulations.
* Help maintain and improve client service standards within the team.

Skills and Experience

* Experience as a Senior Account Handler or experienced Account Handler in commercial insurance broking.
* Solid knowledge of commercial insurance products and broking procedures.
* Comfortable managing a varied client portfolio with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* Organised and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
* Cert CII or working towards (desirable).
