This Highgate-based family is looking for an After-school Nanny to take care of their school-aged child. All general Nanny duties are required in this role. A welcoming family in Highgate, North London, is looking for an experienced, caring, and energetic after-school nanny. They are looking for someone with very good English who can support his learning and make the afternoons enjoyable, engaging, and active. The nanny will be intelligent, love children, cheerful and proactive, with the ability to combine homework support with fun and creative interaction. The family is looking for someone who can become a positive and inspiring part of the child’s daily routine. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3:40 pm to 7:40 pm (can be a bit later if the pick up is later)

Duties include:

• ⁠Previous experience working with children in private families
• Strong references
• ⁠Excellent spoken English is essential
• ⁠Experience working in a primary school or nursery is preferred
• ⁠Energetic, kind, reliable, and engaging personality
• ⁠Someone who enjoys playing, reading, and interacting actively with children,
• The candidate must live no more than 45 minutes away from the place of work.
• ⁠Collect the child after school,
• ⁠Help with homework and support his learning in English, -⁠ ⁠Read English books together -⁠ ⁠Play games and organise fun, stimulating activities -⁠ ⁠Encourage conversation and language development through active communication -⁠ ⁠Keep him entertained, engaged, and happy after school -⁠ ⁠Create a positive, warm, and structured routine after the school -⁠ ⁠⁠tidy-up places where you played together (toys, books, study materials)
• Keeping child's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
• Child's washing and organisation.
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
