An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join an Outstanding secondary school in Camden on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the School Business Director, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the HR function while acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across all people-related matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the school's HR function and managing the full employee lifecycle

• Advising leaders on employee relations, performance management and employment legislation

• Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and safer recruitment compliance

• Managing the Single Central Record and ensuring statutory compliance

• Developing and reviewing HR policies and procedures

• Supporting payroll, contract management and workforce planning

• Leading staff wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives

• Producing HR reports to support strategic decision-making

About You

The school is looking to appoint an experienced HR professional who enjoys building positive working relationships and delivering a high-quality HR service.

You'll have previous experience within HR management, strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and the confidence to advise senior leaders on a wide range of people matters. Experience within education is desirable, although candidates from other sectors with transferable HR leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary & Benefits
