Why This Role Stands Out

• Competitive base pay: £55,869 per year (inclusive of any applicable London weighting), with the potential to earn up to £61,000 through bonuses and overtime.
• Weekly variety: Average 40 hours per week, roster provided 7 days in advance and core hours confirmed 3 days ahead.
• Shift flexibility: Shifts run between 06:00 and 02:00 and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair light‑vehicle faults on‑site, ranging from electrical issues to flat tyres and batteries.
• Provide courteous, customer‑focused service, representing the organisation as a trusted roadside ambassador.
• Manage your own kit, keep the service van fully stocked, and complete accurate service reports.
• Make independent decisions on‑site to deliver the right fix quickly and safely.
• Travel to call‑outs across the UK, with occasional overnight stays when required.

What We’re Looking For

• A Level 2 light‑vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with solid technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with members.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to respond to short‑notice assignments and willingness to travel, including overnight stays if needed.

Working Conditions

• Average 40 hours per week, with shift patterns that may start as early as 06:00 and finish as late as 02:00.
• Rosters are published a week in advance; core hours are confirmed three days before each shift.
• Travel across the UK is required; the employer provides a fully equipped service van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit.
