The role
Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for driving growth and innovation in a dynamic environment?
Insight is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Public Sector team and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients for Central Government . In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with managing a portfolio of key accounts, consistently surpassing sales targets, and fostering enduring client relationships. You will also play a role in spearheading multi-level selling strategies across both Technology and Solutions, ensuring our clients receive unparalleled value and expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop a deep understanding of the client needs to create strategic account plans
Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system
Utilize internal systems to track progress against targets and manage account plans effectively
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build professional relationships
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
Communicate effectively with colleagues to share insights and drive business goals
Engage in continuous learning through training programs offered by Insight
Essential Experience/Skills:
Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets both in Technology and Solutions in Public Sector
Experience managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to completion for a book of existing accounts in the Public Sector
Able to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the customer requirements
Experience working both independently and, in a team,-oriented, collaborative environment
A team player with a flexible approach and “Can do” attitude
Strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
