In this role, you’ll work closely with the Science department, supporting lessons across KS3, KS4, and A-Level , helping students understand complex topics, and building their confidence in the core sciences.
Graduate Science Teaching Assistant: Your Role
As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support Science teachers in delivering engaging and challenging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Provide 1-1 and small group intervention sessions to boost progress in key areas
- Assist with practical experiments , ensuring a safe and exciting learning experience in the lab
- Help with lesson preparation, marking, and classroom organisation
- Track student progress and offer targeted support to help them achieve their academic goals
Graduate Science Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification
KPi Education is seeking a passionate and motivated Graduate Science Teaching Assistant with the following:
- A 2:1 or higher degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject (Russell Group or Top-30 University)
- Excellent GCSE and A-Level results in Science and Maths
- A genuine passion for education and Science
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire young learners
