Mobile Commercial Electrician
Are you an experienced commercial electrician looking for a new challenge? We're a family-run business that's rapidly upscaling and expanding our national footprint. We're built on a foundation of trust, quality, and a genuine commitment to our people. If you're a skilled professional who values a supportive, non-corporate environment and wants to grow with a company, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
The Role
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Mobile Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. You'll be the face of our company, responsible for a wide range of electrical work across various commercial buildings. This is a dynamic role that combines your technical expertise with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You'll be out on the road, taking ownership of projects and ensuring our clients' electrical systems are safe, efficient, and fully compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Planned & Reactive Maintenance: Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance (PPM) on existing electrical installations to ensure peak performance and reliability.
Fault Finding & Remedial Work: Quickly and accurately diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to get systems back online with minimal disruption.
Installation & Upgrades: Perform new installations, rewiring, and system upgrades in line with project specifications and the latest regulations.
Electrical Inspection and Testing: Carry out fixed-wire testing, EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), and other necessary inspections.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, strictly adhering to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and all relevant health and safety protocols.
Client Communication: Serve as a key point of contact on-site, providing clear updates to clients and representing the company with professionalism.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Proven experience as a commercial electrician, preferably in a mobile role.
Qualifications: You must hold a relevant electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds 2365 (or 2330) and an NVQ Level 3.
Certifications: Possess the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification and a full, clean UK driving license.
Skills: Strong fault-finding abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Mindset: A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
What My Client Offer
Competitive Salary: A rewarding salary package that reflects your experience and skills.
Company Vehicle: A fully equipped company vehicle for all your travel needs.
Professional Development: We invest in our people. You'll have genuine opportunities for career progression as we continue to grow.
Supportive Environment: Work with a close-knit, family-oriented team where your contributions are valued and recognized.
