Senior Resource Planner

Morson is a principal supplier of track resources to Transport for London , with teams working around the clock to deliver vital maintenance, upgrade, and enhancement projects across the capital’s transport network.

We know that success comes from hiring great people - and we’re now looking for a Senior Resource Planner (London Underground) to join our expanding Track Access and Protection department at our Canning Town operations facility.

The Role

As a Resource Planner, you’ll take ownership of coordinating and managing safety-critical track protection resources (specified areas, weekend closures, BTR, etc), ensuring our client receives a seamless and efficient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing safety-critical track protection resources
• Allocating client requests to the most suitably qualified and competent operatives
• Ensuring operatives receive complete job notifications, including all necessary details
• Producing briefings, job descriptions, and summary sheets
• Acting as the first point of contact for both clients and operatives to resolve issues and queries
• Coordinating allocation of work to support training and maintenance of safety-critical licences.
• Supporting delivery of the current contract while helping to secure new opportunities

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Proven safety-critical rail protection experience in London Underground (PWT-EH/TH, TM, POM, etc.)
• Excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
• Confident communicator able to liaise across multiple teams and stakeholders
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
