Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

* Assist in recruiting, training, and managing nursery staff.

* Supervise and appraise staff performance.

* Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements and nursery policies.

Childcare and Education:

* Deliver high-quality learning, development, and care.

* Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

* Plan and oversee activities that support children's progress.

Communication and Partnerships:

* Build strong relationships with parents/carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.

* Foster a collaborative environment with parents/carers to enhance children's development.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.

* Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).

Experience & Knowledge:

* Proven experience in a similar role within a nursery setting.

* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidance.

Skills & Attributes:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to lead and motivate a team.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
