The Opportunity

Reporting directly to our CEO, you'll take ownership of the finance function at an important stage in our journey.

Finance is currently delivered through a combination of an outsourced provider and internal support. Your challenge will be to bring management accounting and commercial finance capability in–house, strengthen reporting, build scalable processes and create a finance function that enables the business to grow.

You'll work closely with our leadership team, modelling different commercial scenarios, providing meaningful financial insight and helping shape strategic decisions as we continue to expand.

You'll also manage relationships with our outsourced finance partners and advisers, ensuring everyone is aligned and delivering against expectations.

This is a highly visible role with real influence across the business.

What you'll be doing

• Taking ownership of monthly management accounts, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting
• Building stronger financial controls and scalable finance processes
• Business partnering with senior leaders to support commercial decision–making
• Producing insightful analysis, modelling growth scenarios and challenging assumptions
• Leading budgeting and forecasting across the business
• Managing relationships with outsourced finance providers, auditors and advisers
• Improving systems, reporting and automation, including the use of AI where it adds value
• Lead statutory reporting, compliance and governance across the Group.
• Supporting our UK business alongside our growing operations in the Netherlands and US
• Helping prepare the business for its next phase of growth

About You

You'll ideally be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with strong management accounting and financial control experience, ideally gained within an SME, founder–led or professional services environment.

You're commercially minded, enjoy improving processes, and are confident partnering with senior stakeholders to turn financial information into business insight. Most importantly, you're ambitious and excited by the opportunity to grow with a business where you can make a visible impact.

Experience in recruitment isn't essential, but an interest in technology, automation and continuous improvement would be a real advantage.
