Year 3 Teacher — Lambeth
Do you want to join a dynamic Lambeth primary rated Outstanding and teach a curious Year 3 class from January 2026? A high-aspiration Lambeth school is looking for an inspirational Year 3 Teacher to join its KS2 team on a Full-Time basis. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be invited to planning sessions prior to January 2026, will attend a comprehensive induction in January 2026, and will be teaching from January 2026 as the Year 3 Teacher. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys enquiry-based learning, strong curriculum thinking and collaborative professional development.
A week in the life of the Year 3 Teacher
Mornings: the Year 3 Teacher leads ambitious reading and mathematics sequences designed to build fluency, vocabulary and reasoning. Afternoons: the Year 3 Teacher teaches enquiry-led foundation topics that build knowledge and cultural capital. The Year 3 Teacher will run targeted interventions, lead small groups and organise trips that extend learning beyond the classroom. These activities will be prepared prior to January 2026, supported through induction in January 2026, and delivered from January 2026 by the Year 3 Teacher.
Impact and development for the Year 3 Teacher
This Outstanding Lambeth primary invests in staff development: the Year 3 Teacher will join coaching cycles, receive subject-specific CPD and take part in peer observations starting January 2026. Opportunities to lead curriculum projects and to mentor colleagues are available to the Year 3 Teacher following successful induction. Year 3 Teacher Requirements & profile
We are seeking a Year 3 Teacher with QTS, clear KS2 evidence, strong classroom management and a desire to contribute to whole-school improvement. The Year 3 Teacher must be ready for pre-term planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and commence Full-Time teaching from January 2026 as the Year 3 Teacher.
