Your new role

In this role you will support the Associate Commercial Director to drive sales growth across key strategic accounts. You’ll focus on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including key opinion leaders and online health care companies helping us grow our presence in rapidly growing market.

You will also:

  • Lead key account management activities with private providers and strategic partners to maximise growth opportunities by identifying new business opportunities within existing strategic accounts that create value for both Novo Nordisk and its partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Marketing, Medical Affairs, etc.) to align on product positioning and promotional activities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, assess the competitive landscape, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and the ABPI Code of Practice.

The role requires travel across the UK approximately 2–3 times per week.

Your new department

The role is based in the UK affiliate, within the Private Obesity Business Unit. Our team is dedicated to improving the lives of patients by driving innovation and growth in the private provider and eCommerce landscape. The UK affiliate is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where collaboration and strategic thinking are key to success .

Your skills & qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, and demonstrate the following:

  • Solid understanding of B2B2C business models, e-commerce, and the digital health landscape; experience in both FMCG and pharmaceutical environments, preferably within the private obesity sector.
  • Data-driven and commercially astute, with strong analytical skills and a focus on delivering measurable value in a consumer-led healthcare market.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated, and adaptable to change.
  • IT literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • ABPI qualification (required).
