A Food Technician is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.

This Food Technician position will be full time and long term temporary, in the first instance.

If appointed as a Food Technician your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Assisting Food Technology Teachers in setting up practical lessons whilst maintaining a clean and safe environment for cookery classes
• Supporting pupils and staff with practical activities, as well as advising them on correct Health & Safety practices
• Ordering new equipment and materials when necessary to ensure all stock is regulated properly

The rates of pay for this Food Technician post will be between 82.14 to 135 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

You can apply if you're a recent Graduate in a Food related field/subject or experienced Food Technician.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Food Technician or overseas trained Food Technician.

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor's Degree in a Food related field/subject
• Experience as a Food Technician in UK Secondary schools
