We're here to help! ABM UK is seeking reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Casual Cleaning Operatives to join our Soft Services team at Olympia Events, one of London's most iconic event venues. This casual position offers flexible working opportunities based on event schedules and operational requirements, making it ideal for students, part-time workers, individuals seeking additional income, or those looking for weekend work. Shifts may be available during weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, allowing successful candidates to work around their existing commitments where operationally possible. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across event spaces, public areas, washrooms, Toilets and back-of-house locations.
• Support cleaning activities before, during, and after events.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively where trained.
• Manage waste, recycling, and replenishment of cleaning consumables.
• Report hazards, defects, or incidents to the Supervisor/Team Leader.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, and site procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Preferable good understanding of spoken and written English.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and undertake physical duties.
• Awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.

Desirable

• Previous cleaning experience in events, hospitality, retail, leisure, or commercial environments.
• Knowledge of event venue operations.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts.
