A loving Good Primary School in Croydon seeks a dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a Part-Time appointment beginning January 2026 . This Part-Time Year 1 Teacher role (two to three days a week) offers a fantastic balance between meaningful classroom impact and personal wellbeing.
From January 2026 , the Year 1 Teacher will lead a small, motivated class with strong TA support. The Part-Time Year 1 Teacher will plan creative literacy and phonics sessions, deliver engaging maths activities and encourage social confidence through play-based learning. The Year 1 Teacher will benefit from mentoring, co-planning sessions and regular feedback.
The school values community and inclusion. The Part-Time Year 1 Teacher starting January 2026 will be welcomed into a warm staff family where teamwork matters. Even on a Part-Time schedule, the Year 1 Teacher will attend CPD and school events, supported by leadership that prioritises work-life balance.
The ideal Year 1 Teacher holds QTS, has a good understanding of KS1 pedagogy and is committed to creative learning. Induction begins early January 2026 , and classroom teaching starts mid-January 2026. This Part-Time Year 1 Teacher role is perfect for an educator who values quality over quantity.
