Relief Chef (Secondary Schools) – £38k–£40k – Mon-Fri – London
The Opportunity: Collins King & Associates are supporting a valued school client across North and South London in recruiting a Relief Chef for their Secondary School contracts. If you take pride in making a positive impact by providing great food for schoolchildren, this role offers the perfect chance to enjoy immense variety while cooking nutritious, high-quality meals.
The Highlights:
- Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 + mileage allowance included.
- Hours & Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours only. Term-time only, meaning you get all school holidays off!

The Requirements:
- Background: Previous chef experience, ideally within education, contract catering, or a high-volume catering environment.
- Mobility: A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential, alongside a willingness to adapt quickly to different kitchen environments.
- Compliance & Safety: Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety, plus an Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to obtain one).
