Our client is a leading mid-tier accountancy firm based in the heart of the city. They are now looking for an ambitious Tax Assistant to join their Private Client team. Your experience

Preferably ATT qualified they will consider experienced candidates who have started their studies. Experience of managing a portfolio of clients is important

The role

They are looking for a Tax Assistant to work with the existing team on a broad range of high-profile clients.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Working on your portfolio of clients which will include entrepreneurs and HNWI's. Preparing personal tax returns in your portfolio and chasing client information and dealing with queries.

Working directly with senior members of the tax team on their client projects and liaising with other teams to deliver results:

• Assisting with preparation of CGT Returns, P11Ds, Employment Related Securities Returns, ATED Returns etc
• Advisory work under the guidance of senior team members such as Inheritance tax planning
• Helping with enquiry work
• Technical research to provide possible solutions to complex tax issues.
• Management of WIP, billing and debtors on your portfolio
