Part Time Nanny

Part Time Nanny – September Start – B1 – SW4
2 Days per Week (Thursday & Friday) | 20 Hours
Lovely first-time parents are seeking their first nanny to join them in September and care for their delightfully smiley, curious little boy, who will be 1 year old when the role begins. They are looking for a warm, experienced nanny who will help their son thrive, fill his days with joy, and gently support him through the next stages of his development. The parents are respectful, collaborative, and truly value a nanny’s expertise and knowledge in childcare.
During the settling-in period, one parent will be working from home from an office on the top floor. This is very much a sole-charge position.

Responsibilities:
• Planning and engaging in fun, age-appropriate, educational activities
• Organising outings and local adventures
• Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the child (and ideally dinner for the parents too, so
the family can enjoy the same meals together)
• All nursery duties and child-related household tasks
• Providing attentive, developmentally focused care
• Keeping on top of the child’s wardrobe and essentials, and advising on suitable products
when needed
• Supporting and establishing a gentle, child-led routine, including daily nap guidance.

The Ideal Nanny:
• Bubbly, energetic, and warm
• A self-starter who takes initiative
• 5+ years’ professional nanny experience
• Confident cook with a good understanding of childhood nutrition
• Genuine passion for childcare and child development
• Collaborative, communicative, and happy to muck in
• Holds the right to work in the UK
• Ideally located within an easy commute
**French-speaking would be a lovely bonus.

Schedule:
• 2 days per week, 8am-6pm Thursday & Friday.
• Minimum 1-year commitment.
The nanny will also be offered first refusal on any additional babysitting opportunities (paid extra),
though this is entirely optional.
Driving is not currently required, as everything is within walking distance, although this may change in the future. If the nanny chooses to drive to work, off-street parking is available.
MUST HAVE: DBS, First Aid, relevant childcare training and verifiable references.

Compensation:
Salary dependent on experience — please state salary expectations upon application.
