School Caretaker | Brent (Primary)
We are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Brent to find an energetic School Caretaker to join their team ASAP. About the School The school is a popular two-form entry primary that serves a diverse and supportive community. It is known for its "forest school" approach and extensive outdoor learning spaces, which require dedicated care. The staff are exceptionally close-knit, and there is a real emphasis on creating a safe, colourful, and inspiring environment for the young children.
The Role The caretaker will be responsible for the general upkeep of the school buildings and grounds. This includes reactive maintenance, such as fixing door handles, as well as planned preventative work. The role also involves monitoring cleaning standards and ensuring supplies are well-stocked. During holidays, the caretaker oversees renovation projects and deep-cleaning schedules.
Requirements
Approach: A "can-do" attitude and a friendly, approachable manner.
Reliability: Exceptional time-keeping skills for the daily opening of the school.
Compliance: The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. A valid enhanced DBS is required.
