Broker Support Technician - Life Sciences

- Assist with the preparation of market submissions
- Assist with teams MRC production and endorsements
- Logging of quotes and enquires
- Daily monitoring with IBA team to monitor bad debt, cash and funding.
- Bordereaux monitoring for current facilities
- Assisting with KYC due diligence procedures
- Assisting with binding submissions via PPL
- Maintaining a clear, accurate and comprehensive DMS file
- Monitor timeliness of the placement process to ensure Contract Certainty is achieved and timely invoicing is achieved.
- Ensure the accurate and effective maintenance of data held within the PFP processing systems
- Generally providing support to the placing brokers.
- Assisting our processing teams with any queries received via Xchanging
- Creating and submitting opening memo checklists for authorisation
- Creating and submitting Closing and Endorsement Workflow submissions to PRO
- Assist with IBA and Credit Control queries
- Carrying out such projects and other duties and tasks as may from time to time be required
- Sufficient knowledge and understanding of the relevant aspects of the Law of Agency and the Law of Contract to be able to perform the Principal Tasks
- Sufficient knowledge and understanding of the general concepts of insurance to be able to perform the Principal Tasks
- Good working knowledge of the UK regulatory requirements as they affect the business of the Property Section
- Awareness of legal and jurisdictional requirements in territorial limits worked on and maintenance of up to date knowledge of current market practices.
- Knowledge of Price Forbes practices, procedures and service standards
- Knowledge and/or awareness of Price Forbes IT systems and processes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel packages
- Ability to use the Price Forbes IT systems
