Premises Manager - London
A large, diverse Secondary School in South East London is seeking a proactive and experienced Premises Manager to join their team immediately . This is a vital position within the school community, ensuring the site is safe, secure, well maintained, and functioning efficiently for staff and students.
About the Role
The Premises Manager will oversee the school’s maintenance, site operations, security procedures, grounds management, and compliance responsibilities. You will lead a small site team and liaise closely with senior leadership to ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety legislation.
Daily responsibilities include overseeing contractors, conducting routine checks, coordinating repairs, maintaining equipment logs, monitoring cleaning standards, ensuring fire safety and security procedures are upheld, and managing the school’s planned preventative maintenance schedule. The role also involves supporting school events, managing site resources, and ensuring the school is prepared for daily operation.
