Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School – Barnet

What You’ll Be Doing as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant:

• Supporting high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 , particularly in subjects such as English, Maths, Science , and Humanities.
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for students who require additional academic or emotional support.
• Helping students stay focused, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
• Collaborating with teachers to prepare engaging lessons and support with classroom organisation and behaviour management.
• Promoting a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.

What We’re Looking For – Graduate Learning Support Assistant

• A graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher (degrees in Psychology, Education, English , or other relevant fields are particularly welcomed).
• A motivated and patient individual with a genuine interest in supporting young people.
• Someone with previous experience working with young people—whether through tutoring, mentoring, coaching , or volunteering.
• A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with both students and staff.
• Availability to commit full-time from September 2025 to July 2026.
