Creative Content Designer

Olympia is undergoing a period of change. In 2017, the venue was bought by a consortium led by Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance international. Work is currently underway to transform the wider estate into a cultural hub of which Olympia Events will be the central part. Job Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the Creative Content Designer will be responsible for the design and production of engaging marketing collateral, including digital graphics, video content, brochures and social media assets. This role is ideal for a designer with around 3+ years of experience, having previously worked on similar content for established brands, with a strong eye for detail and storytelling.
This role requires a strong understanding of design software including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
Key Responsibilities
Design high-quality digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, event signage, campaign graphics, and presentations
Produce and edit promotional videos, highlight reels, and social media content using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent tools
Collaborate with the wider marketing and sales team to develop visual assets that align with campaign goals and brand guidelines
Create multi-channel motion graphics and video content for use across digital channels
Manage and maintain an organised asset library, ensuring timely delivery and version control
Support the visual development of branding, including logos, themes, and event-specific design elements
Contribute to the creation of presentation decks and proposals using PowerPoint or similar tools
Support the maintenance and development of digital assets for digital screens and website, ensuring mobile-friendly, optimised designs
Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve creative output
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for a designer with 3+ years’ experience working with established brands. We would like to see a portfolio that shows creative thinking and design fundamentals.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, (After Effects a plus).
A strong understanding of visual design principles such as composition, colour, and typography, in line with brand guidelines.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet quick turnaround deadlines without compromising on quality.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Good time management and ability to work to deadlines.
Desirable (but not essential)
Familiarity with social media platforms and creating assets for digital campaigns
Interest in the events industry and a passion for creativity.
