We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Operations team. You will play a key role in ensuring our buildings are maintained to the highest standards, providing a responsive and professional cleaning service for both internal and external customers.

Where will I be working?

Based on site at Chelsea Creek, London (SW6)

What hours will I be working?

A 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 7am to 7pm - 4 on 4 off

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake effective cleaning of building areas using the correct materials and equipment, following agreed schedules and standards.
  • Maintain Health and Safety guidance regarding the use and storage of cleaning materials and machinery.
  • Identify and report areas for improvement to your supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively with your supervisor regarding any concerns or problems.
  • Represent the onsite cleaning team with a highly visible presence and ensure your ID badge is always displayed.
  • Assist with the development and improvement of cleaning schedules, resolving any Health & Safety breaches.
  • Participate in learning, development, and compliance activities as required.
  • Report larger items of rubbish to the appropriate person.
  • Maintain the high standards expected in the delivery of cleaning.
  • Work productively and supportively with the cleaning supervisor and team to deliver a clean, safe environment for all building users. [Cleaner RM...le Profile | PDF]

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

  • Good timekeeping and cleaning experience.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with others to provide excellent customer and cleaning services.
  • Awareness of COSHH and Health & Safety.
  • Ability to provide a high-quality cleaning service.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning role.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and compliance matters relating to cleaning products.
  • Understanding of COSHH regulations and PPE.
