Full-time Nanny, bedroom provided, Job ID J1DE9A
This lovely family, based in Notting Hill, London, is seeking a Live-in Nanny to care for their toddler and a new baby, due in January 2026. Knowledge of Italian would be an advantage. The role includes all general nanny duties, with 24-hour cover required for the first three months, before transitioning into a full-time daytime position. The nanny will be expected to return to their own accommodation at weekends. While no formal qualifications are necessary, extensive newborn experience is essential. The role also involves worldwide travel for 4 to 8 weeks per year, so flexibility is key. A valid first aid qualification is required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 24-hour cover for the first 3 months, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, after that period, Total hours per week: 58 hours ( pro rata )
Accommodation: Own room Monday to Friday
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for the baby
- Bathing the children and maintaining proper hygiene
- Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
- Keeping bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
- Encouraging early literacy through regular reading sessions
- Providing homework support and assisting with the children’s learning
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
